Lyocell is a biodegradable and compostable material. The wood wool strands are 2mm x 9mm in width and between 0.5 mm and 4mm thick. The biodegradable erosion log\u2019s purpose is to provide a lightweight, porous, and flexible sediment retention device that can be shaped to the terrain contours, dissipate water flow velocity, and filter sediment from the water flow.
