Wood Wool Blankets

The Wood wool blanket (WWB) is a Type 3B erosion control blanket made from Populus Canescens wood wool (excelsior), placed between two lightweight, photodegradable polypropylene nets. The blanket is then sewn together with biodegradable yarn on 50mm centres. It has a functional longevity of 12 – 24 Months, depending on climate and soil conditions. The blankets are tightly rolled into 2.45m by 51.4m rolls and wrapped for transport.
